Changes for Make Signup Schedule
The schedule layouts viewable on signup pages are also now viewable on the Make Signup Schedule page. Additionally:
- The per-table Add Schedule Item forms no longer exist. Instead there are ADD icons to display the form. Also if you click on the icon next to an existing schedule item, the form is loaded with the properties of that schedule item.
- The form itself has a few changes. You always set an activity's date by entering a date; you choose On-site vs Planning via a radio buttion; you can switch to the next date or time by clicking on an icon; and you can set why a schedule item is unavailable.
- You can temporarily view a layout by selecting it from the Do Setup Action dropdown menu.
- The Select Table command is gone (i.e. the SEL link at top of each table), and the Schedule Item's Activity column shows description emphasis (if any) instead of signup style.
Miscellaneous Changes
- The special Role "sponsor" is now available. When a registration has this role, it can signup for the same schedule item multiple times. For example, you can use it to make "placeholder signups"
on behalf of some organization — as when an organization has promised to supply 8 volunteers to answer phones at a fundraiser, but the actual individuals are not known to you.
- To allow an email-less person to be able to login, enter an email addresss that
ends with @no.email (e.g. john@no.email).
- You can now customize the columns in the tables inserted by Email Announcement->Insert Each Recipient's->Coworkers and ->Teammates. After doing the Insert, place (column-letters) before the 2nd @. For example, put @coworkers(nat)@ in your announcement if you only want the Name, Activity, and Time columns in the table.
