Home-page Event Lists and Privileged Users
- Added Agent privilege. An agent can view admin info (like an Observer), but can also signup other people.
- On Self-Signup Home, privileged users can now choose from 3 event-listing options. The 2 new listing options embodied in this have also been made available on Admin Home.
- On Admin Home, the Update and Delete icons have been replaced with an Other
Actions dropdown menu. This menu includes those 2 commands, plus Import Signups, Export Signups, goto event's Self-Signup Page, and List Event's Schedule Views.
- On Admin Home, web stages are now color-coded. In particular, Published is green.
- Rolling events are now alpha-sorted at the top of the event list, like history and template events have been.
- DO A ROLL.. has been renamed Roll Its Event and moved from the Web Stage menu to the Other Actions menu.
User Experience
- Unprivileged users now stay logged in until they logout. That is, restarting your browser or shutting down your computer does not cause a Logout. (Privileged users still need to Hibernate their computers to achieve this effect).
- The Manage Schedule Views page now allows you to copy or move a view from one event to another event. The Move option is for when you have a personal view for an already-over event and realize you would like to use that view at the next occurrence of that event.
- Event rows on Self-Signup Home and Admin Home are now alternately White and Gray.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Admins can now Import and Export Signups. Export then Import is used to "tweak" a bunch of signups all at once. Import by itself is for inter-application sharing and for quickly capturing signups that occurred off-line (eg. at a picnic).
- The special role "guest" has been added. If a person is registered with this role, they cannot login and their signups have a turqoise background color. (See Self-Registration Policy in Configure Group help for more info).
- In Configure Group, you can now cause a special banner to be displayed at the top of Self-Signup Home and your self-signup pages.
- Enhanced Email Announcement help regarding how to tell new users about logging in for the first time.
- Update Schedule Line on a grid admin signup page now allows one to update multiple schedule lines before closing the form.
