Things Related to being Logged In

  1. Hilited not-logged-in state more, both on self-signup home and self-signup pages.
  2. Self-signup home now shows who is logged-in (and Update Registration and Change Password) at top of the Your Signups section.
  3. Top area when not logged in has two changes: the word 'personalized' is now help link and top right says "Welcome to Self-signup Home".
  4. Conditional activities are now shown all the time. When not logged in, everyong sees a label indicating activity is conditional. After logging in, a person with no access sees a label of "Unavailable".
  5. Added not-logged-in View to active privileges dropdown menu on self-signup home.

Forum

  1. Added msg's date in header of shown message.
  2. List Matches has a new range: last 3 months.
  3. When a That-Contains string is specified, messages of the last year are checked (unless you specify a new time range at the same time).
  4. Visit Forum links added to top of Self-signup Home and the Group Admin section of Admin Home.
  5. It is now okay to Quote the message you are replying to after entering the new message's subject.

Signup Pages

Grid views and locations:

  1. Added 2 grid arrangements (i.e. multiple activities per row) to admin-signup page's How-to-arrange-activities dropdown menu: Activities versus time, and Activities versus location.
    • Grids work best for dense regular schedules — like tennis court availability.
    • Vs-location is of use if your activity names contain locations that share a common theme — like Precincts in an election.
  2. Changed self-signup page's Arrange radio buttons to dropdown menu. This menu always contains a 3rd option: Activity grid, vs time. It may also contain 2 more items (see next bullet).
  3. Added ability to setup a UI Term for Location (in Create Event and Update Event). If you specify such a term (eg. Precinct, Performance), your self-signup page's Arrange Activities dropdown menu gets 2 more items: Grouped by 'your term'; and In a Grid, vs 'your term'.

Other things:

  1. Big pages now download faster.
  2. The Self-signup page Activities-to-show dropdown menu item Upcoming-and-not-full has been changed to Available-to-do. Accordingly it also hides unavailable conditional activities.
  3. Signup rows now contain a reworked Email icon, and Admin signup rows now contain an Update icon if the activity has a form.
  4. Changed terminology #-Needed to #-Wanted. Also when an activity is full, its Do-it-or-status label now says Taken rather than No More Left.
  5. #-Wanted for a generic activity is set to the sum of the #-Wanted's of its specific activities.

Miscellaneous Changes

Look and feel:

  1. Help links display a box rather than a new page.
  2. When you bring up a dialog box, you no longer have to click in its 1st field before entering data there.
  3. FAQ link added to PRESTO footer (and Forum link removed).
  4. Miscellaneous UI tweaks too small to mention individually (e.g. renamed some menu items on Make/View Report page).

Make Signup Schedule and event duration:

  1. You can now extend an event just by scheduling an activity past the end of the event (see table/form at bottom of the page).
  2. If you do not fill in First Date in Insert Days dialog box, it is set to the 1st day past the end of the schedule.
  3. Event duration can be at most 1 year. Planning activities can be at most 2 years from start of event.

Interoperability:

  1. Streamlined UI of Export People.
  2. Dates are now generated in Year-Month-Day format when an Export or Raw-Date report is done.
  3. Import Database now sets Registered to date of Import if neither Registered nor Expires info is in import file. (This was done to support bulk registration of new people, as well as true db imports).

Other things:

  1. Added new email generic term: you can now insert Signups+Forms (or just Signups, as before).
  2. You can now setup a default item for a Menu field in a form. To do this, place a * before the desired item when you enter the menu's items.
  3. Guided Tour link on prestogem.com now works, and Guided Tour link added to Admin Home.
