1) Email Announcements.
1a) Draft Announcements:
o You can save a message in the Drafts folder.
o You can call it up for later use (ie. edit it further or send it).1b) Scheduled Announcements:
o You can schedule the delivery of an annnouncement.
o You can schedule a series of announcements. In particular, in conjunction
with Search Results..., each message in the series can be sent to different
people (ie. the people relevant to the announcement that day).
o You can edit or delete messages in the Pending Announcements folder. 1c) To-list enhancements:
o You can remove any To-list item, and edit a Search To-list item.
o Email to people-in-file now works with Internet Explorer. 2) Signups.
2a) General changes to handling/integration of signups:
o Added Current Event and Active Events to the Search form's When-Activity-Is
dropdown menu.
o When Person's-Signups is put in an email announcement, it expands to
only the signup(s) that triggered that person being a recipient.
o Similarly when it is in a report column, it expands to only the
signup(s) that triggered that row being in the report.
o The subject of a signup audit-trail message now always identifies the
person involved and what the signup action was. (Previously the format
depended on whether an auto-msg was sent or the person had an email address). 2b) Changed related to signup status:
o Added a new signup status: Late
o Added Signup Status dropdown menu to Search form.
o Added Signup Status to Make/View Peport's Signup-field dropdown menu, and
now noshow, pending, and ready signups are included in the report's scope
only if signup-status is a value in the report.
o When signups are displayed in your search results, those with pending
or ready status are now included (with a colored link ala noshows) 3) Judged contests.
o You can put the new Judged-contest activity into a schedule.
o Entries (ie. signups for such an activity) can be made anonymous to judges.
o The scores judges fill out for each entry are automatically tabulated. 4) A variety of small UI and doc changes, such as:
o Expanded info in current-signups table on public home.
o Longer values for some things, in particular activity names and locations.
(Also too-long error now shows where the overflow occurs).
o When admin does audited action on behalf of someone, the admin's name
is included in the audit trail subject's prefix.
o Reorganized Make/View Report doc.
