Enhanced Activity Handling
- All the places where you can identify activities are now dynamic menus (eg.
the Activity to Schedule dropdown menus on Make Signup Schedule, Activity Info on Search).
- You can now edit, copy, and delete multiple activities on Manage Activities
(with the same sort of UI as provided for schedule lines on Make Signup Schedule).
- You have more control selecting multiple things when entering an activity base name
or location. For example, if you enter CLE (and you have Clerk activities), a
Clerk,* item will be displayed (ie. the Clerk activity at all its locations).
- The default properties of an activity are documented and an activity with default
properties can be created as part of creating a schedule line or grid.
- Manage Activity's table of existing activities now displays a more complete
summary of each activity. (Conversely the When column has been eliminated
because dynamic menus now take care of the issue that column was for).
- Manage Activites now provides a separate help link for each major activity-related topic.
- The UI and help now consistently use "name" and "base name" as follows:
an activity name = base name [, optional location].
Dynamic Menu Enhancements
- There is now a down-arrow to the right of dynamic menus. This is particularly useful
for small lists: just click on it and select the desired item like with a regular dropdown
menu.
- You can now browse thru a large list using Next links,
and you can choose where to start browsing by entering a capital letter.
Miscellaneous UI Changes
- People with See-All-Signups (or Observer) privilege can now list all signups of
an event at once.
Just click on the List All Signups link at the top right of the event's self-signup page.
- You can now register people with similar information more quickly (eg. family members).
After registering (or updating) someone, on the next Register
you can click on Load Last Person's Info to seed a Register with that person's info.
- The Leave Forum button has been replaced with the sort of Home links that appear on
other pages.
- Minor wording changes were made to Customize Registration, Make Signup Form,
Search, and the 3rd Group Admin line of Admin Home.
