Core PRESTO Pricing

Aside from purely optional services, you only pay for the website load you create. Your first 1200 Load Units/year are FREE. The remainder are $0.04 a piece.

Load Units are calculated as follows:

Each time a person signs up for an activity, 1 is added to your Load count. Note that cancellations and rejected requests do not affect the count.
When you use the Email Announcement page, each message each person is sent during the year adds 0.125 to your Load count.
Annually each registered person you have adds 0.5 to your Load count. However this is apportioned quarterly by counting 1/4 of the people in the database at the end of each quarter.

For example, suppose your 400 people were all registered for the entire year, and did 2 signups and received 4 announcements per quarter. Then your Load for each quarter would be 1050 (i.e. 1 * 400*2 signups + 1/8 * 400*4 emails + 1/2 * 400/4 people). Accordingly your year (3200 signups, 6400 email recipients, and 400 people) would cost $120 ((4*1050 - 1200) * 0.04).

Pricing of Optional Services

Long-term Direct Access to Events

You can keep around events for 5 years for FREE. After that, an event is archived. This means PRESTO will automatically remove the event, its schedules, and its signups from your database and email you an Export file for the event. You may re-import the event at any time (e.g. to do a special long term report), but it will be automatically removed again in a week.

You may setup a longer dont-archive period. If you do, each whole year of extra storage is 2/10 of a cent for each schedule item and signup in the event. For example, if you run 4 events per year, and each event has 100 signups spread across 25 schedule items, then each extra year you keep these events around will cost you 4*125*$.002 = $1.00.

We will bill you at the end of your fiscal year for any long-term event storage you have setup.

No-Risk Getting-Started offer

This is an offer to setup your group and your first event. To take advantage of this offer:

Fill out the Create PRESTO Website form, if you have not yet done so.
Send email to sales@prestogem.com, providing at least the required info described here.
(Note: a copy of your event's last announcement is an easy way to give us much of this info).

As we do the setup work, we might possibly email you a question or two. When done, we will email you a summary of what we did and what you owe for it. We charge $100/hr for doing a group/event setup, and a typical event takes us an hour or so. It is a No Risk offer because:

If you choose not to use what we setup, that is fine. You can even then do your own setup with our usual level of free ad hoc support.
If you do choose to use our setup, you pay for it gradually and there is no interest charged. Specifically at the end of each year, we bill you 10% of the overall bill.
As with the usage fees, you can walk away at any time and owe no more.

Service Contracts

Send us email if you are interested in contracting for any of these services. We will contact you, discuss what you want, and then email you a statement of the planned work and its price. The prices we quote are based on a labor rate of $100/hour.

Before the work starts, a non-refundable payment of 50% of our price is required. The balance will be billed upon completion of the work.

Training

Basic ad hoc training is provided for free as part of Support.

If your group needs more focused help, a phone training session can be arranged — with an agenda of your choice. Also on-site training, which would include trip expenses, can be contracted for on a case-by-case basis.

Admin Services

This includes things like:

Importing your contact list into your PRESTO people database.
Designing an event: its signup schedules, signup forms, and activities.
Designing reports.
Setting up scheduled announcements and draft announcements.

Code Customizations

This includes things like:

Importer customizations: enhancing the Importer to accept a new format for a field.
Database customizations: adding UI support for a new built-in field.
Arbitrary new features.

At our discretion, we can make such changes part of the base product — that is, available to everyone.

Quarterly Reports, Billing and Payment, and Idle Groups

Your fiscal year starts on your PRESTO-adoption date. You will be sent a usage report, including a bill for anything you owe, at the end of each quarter there is anything to report.

General Rules

PRESTO prices are subject to change at any time. Any price change becomes effective in your next fiscal year. However we guarantee that your annual FREE quotas will never be reduced.
All charges and payments are in US Dollars. We will bill you via PayPal's email service.
You may not assign or delegate your account to another without our prior written consent.
We are open to non-standard payment arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
If you are dissatisfied with any admin or customization work we do for you, we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to rectify the issue. When this process is over, we will re-email your possibly modified bill, and the billing timeline will apply as usual.

Billing Timeline

After we email you a bill, payment is expected within 14 days.
After 14 days, we will remind you by email if you have not paid yet.
After 25 days, we will notify you by email that your PRESTO website will be disabled in 72 hours if you do not send payment by then.
After 28 days, your website will be disabled. If you pay after that, there is a $25 service charge for reenabling your account.
After 91 days without payment, your website will be deleted.

Termination of Idle Groups

If you do no registrations, no signups and no email announcements for 15 months, we will email a notice that your PRESTO website will be deleted in 3 months. To prevent this, either email sales@prestogem.com or do one of these things before the 3 months are up.
